Kirsten Dryburgh was born in 1967 in Auckland, New Zealand. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Auckland, NZ in 2004, majoring in Sculpture. In 2003 Kirsten was a finalist in the 12th Annual Wallace Art Awards at the Auckland War Memorial Museum. At present she is one of the directors of the artist run gallery space, rm103 in downtown Auckland. In March this year, she travelled to Melbourne to be part of the Next Wave Festival in Melbourne, where she contributed works to both the collaborative rm103 exhibition Carry on rm103 and contributed work for the Crease Magazine Crease Trader exhibit. She has just finished a joint exhibition in the rm 103 gallery where she exhibited with Harriet Stockman. Her work, spiderweb gun is part of the James Wallace collection.
